A New York woman who interfered with flight crew members on a flight from Dallas to Los Angeles has been given a four-month prison sentence.
Kelly Pichardo and another first class passenger engaged in intimidating behavior on the flight
In addition to using racial slurs when a male passenger requested them to stop, officials claimed the women assaulted a passenger throughout the flight.
Due to the disagreement, Pichardo, a 32-year-old Bronx resident, was mandated to pay about $9,200 in damages to American Airlines.
A second female passenger who was involved in the incident and has admitted to the crime will receive a sentence in November.
